On the face of it, it looks like one of the unlikeliest of snowstorms in one of America's sunniest states. This picture was taken last week at Gulf Islands National Seashore in Florida, and shows what looks like a car buried in pure white snow, while a bulldozer carves out a route for traffic. In fact the powder causing all the chaos in the sunshine state is not snow, but sand. Powerful winds have blown the white sand off the beaches and into the street, City Lab reported. Even the Gulf Islands official Facebook page, which first published the picture , saw the funny side, writing: "Snow at Gulf Islands National Seashore???
