Controversial boss Mourinho has come under fire after Chelsea's disastrous start to the season, which sees them sitting just above the relegation zone.

But Loftus-Cheek, who has been starved of first-team opportunities, insists that the players still believe he is the right man for the job.

He told the London Evening Standard: "When he criticises you that's only so you get better so we are all backing Jose."He is always helping and that's what he wants to do. Whatever he does is to help a player and you have to take it in a good way."
